  • Train and support parents on how to advocate for their child with disabilities in the school setting to ensure appropriate services and supports for the child within their Individualized Education Plan.
  • Assist parents in writing state complaints, attended facilitated IEP meetings, support parents through due process proceedings.
  • Assist in creation of trainings for parents and professionals based on IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), ETR (Evaluation Team Report), IEP(Individualized Education Plan), and many more. Present these trainings in 9 county area for parents and professionals.
  • Independently created self determination training- GPS (Goal Planning Success) for transition age students. Presented training to middle school students, high school students, and youth in secured facilities within DYS through out Ohio.
