This was a contract position where I germinated and evaluated soybeans for quality using regulatory and Bayer standards.

Assisted in shipping soybeans to other facilities for further testing and performed other lab duties.

• Tracks quality issues with external customers, suppliers and internal plant operations.
• Administers Food Safety Program and HACCP Plan including SSOPs.

• Evaluates samples against standards by completing measurements, visual inspections and other established tests.
• Educates employees on specific QA standards and confirmed maintenance of standards.
• Reviews daily QA documentation and conducts monthly audits.
• Generates detailed reports outlining results and recommendations and assists QA Manager with HACCP and SQF Program.

• Stocked fruits and vegetables and removed old or poor quality products.

• Assisted customers with price checking and finding requested items in store.

• Prepared working papers, reports and supporting documentation for audit findings.
• Recorded inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades and quantities inspected and graded.
