I retired after 40 years of nursing and I truly miss the patient and staff contact. I started out as an LPN and finished my education with a Master of Science in Nursing. I feel a casual position will be perfect for me at this time in my life. I still have a lot to give patients with my vast experience in nursing, I have 10 years of experience in home care and hospice and I must say it was the best time in my nursing career, building relationships with patients and family. Hospital employee of the year for Aspirus prior to my retirement, I was CCRN certified
The Northstar Health system voted on employee of the quarter and then employee of the year is selected out of that group and I received this wonderful award in 2018. It was quite an honor to receive it. I also was the ICU RN and then manager and received by CCRN certification and was an ACLS instructor for the hospital and also Marquette General. I graduated with Honors from all of my nursing programs as well.
