My name is Naomi Grein and I am excited to apply for an elementary teaching at the Eden Prairie Elementary School District. As a dedicated and compassionate educator currently completing my Master of Science in Elementary Education at Walden University, I am passionate about creating supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

During my student teaching experience , I worked closely with both kindergarten and second grade students to design and deliver standards-aligned instruction in literacy, mathematics, science, writing, and social studies. I gained valuable experience implementing differentiated instruction, supporting diverse learners, managing classroom routines, and building strong relationships with students and families. I also collaborated with mentor teachers, intervention staff, and special education teams to ensure all students received meaningful support and opportunities for growth.

One of my greatest strengths as an educator is my ability to build positive relationships and create a classroom culture focused on safety, kindness, responsibility, and student engagement. I understand the importance of supporting students not only academically but also emotionally and socially. My experience coaching middle school tennis and working within the EPIC Summer Program further strengthened my leadership, communication, and student relationship-building skills.

Additionally, my role as a Welcome Desk Receptionist at the Eden Prairie Community Center has helped me develop strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities while working with families, staff, and community members in a fast-paced environment. These experiences have prepared me to be a collaborative and dependable member of a school team.
