  • Participated in a congressional academy event where I presented information on the application process as well as the lifestyle change going from a high schooler to a Naval Academy Midshipman.

  • Led a research project estimating the causal impact of the introduction of the NCAA transfer portal and name, image, and likeness (NIL) policies on transfer rates in and out of NCAA football programs
  • Collected and organized a large dataset in Excel that was then imported and analyzed in R Studio
  • Estimated difference-in-differences (DID) regressions and generated data visualizations in R Studio to portray and interpret results
  • Found that the introduction of the NCAA transfer portal and NIL policies led to a significant effect of transfers out of large football programs.
