• Proper planning and execution of Preventive maintenance of Electrical Equipment.
• Reducing breakdown maintenance to extent practically possible.
• Speedy troubleshooting so as to minimize forced outage time.
• Proper utilization of Manpower.
• Spares planning and procurement follow-up.
• Plant maintenance history and Record-keeping.
• Schedule and control routine preventive overhauls and emergency maintenance for GT, 132 kV AIS and 220 kV GIS.
• Recommend new installations or modifications to improve plant control performance or replacement of defective or obsolete electrical equipment systems and subsystems.
• Communicate with management to resolve complex issues.

In addition to the above responsibilities , I have handled the below mentioned Projects in QEWC (RAF Station).

• Excitation system modification for five 160 MW GT's .
• Modification of all 220 kV existing tariff metering panels.
• Protection modification work of existing 220 kV relay panels for RAF B ,B1 and RAF B2.
• Generator Protection modification for RAF B five 160 MW GT's.
• SFC modification for RAF B units.
• RAF A1/A2/A3 & RAF B 132 kV cable diversion and associated protection modification work.

Responsibilities include as per below.

• Drawing/Schematic /protection setting calculation reviews .
• Commissioning coordination for existing 220 kV GIS, 132kV AIS and generator protection modification work.
• Project follow up, Technical meetings ,site inspection.
• Participate in commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance to specification.
• Final Take Over

Responsibility- Project planning, engineering ,commissioning coordination and tendering support for substations comprises of voltage level up to 220kV.

• 220/66/11 kV New Doha B Super SS (NDBS).
• 220/66/11 kV Abu Hamour Super SS (AHS).
• 220/132/66/11 kV Naeeja Super SS (UPGRADE).
• 220/66/11 kV Ain Khalid Super SS (AKS).
• 220/66/11 kV Lusail Development Super-3 SS (LDS-3).
• 66/11 Ain Khalid North SS (AKN).
• 66/11 AL Wadi West SS.
• 66/11 ISF North SS.
• 66/11 ISF South SS.

Responsibilities include as per below-

• Design engineering.
• Project & capacity planning.
• Coordination with client & intra company business partner.
• Engineering activity/coordination.
• Commissioning coordination.
• Site handover activity.
• Support to Tendering Dept.
• Training coordination.

Responsibility-Engineering activity, project planning, commissioning coordination & support to sales for substation having voltage level up to 400kV.
Delegated in Siemens project office Doha Qatar as an engineering coordinator (Control &Protection) for PH-9 & Ezdan project.

• Ezdan Project .
• Qatar Ph-9 -GTC /240A/2008 Project.
• Qatar Ph-10 -GTC 371/C (Hyosung Package) protection engineering.
• Kenya Electricity Expansion Project. Kenya Electricity and Transmission Company.
• Power Holding Company of Nigeria.

Project handled in India are as per below -

• 400/220 kV Bawana S/S Delhi.
• NDPL 66/11 kV Rohini & Bhalswa S/S , New Delhi.
• NDPL 66/11 kV S/S extension at RG-I, PP-II, RG-IV & RG-V. New Delhi.
• Tata Power Dharawi and Bhandup comprised of extension of 220 kV Line and transformer feeder.
  

Responsibility- Engineering, procurement and commissioning supervision for captive power plants up to 50 MW.

Project handled across India and abroad are as per below-

• Review engineering of Hofuf 3X36 MW gas based CPP of M/s Saudi cement company, Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Review engineering of 5X9.4 MW DG based CPP Of M/s Alsafwa cement company, Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• 1X22.5 MW CPP Wanakbori, 1X22.5 MW BHUJ, 1X 35 MW BAGHERI 1X38 MW Chunar and 1X27 MW Dalla for Jaiprakash associates limited.
• 1X27 MW CPP at Ariyalur for Dalmia cement limited.

Responsibility- Engineering, procurement and commissioning supervision for medium size thermal power plant as well as co-generation power plant.

Responsibility- Engineering, procurement and commissioning supervision for rural power distribution project.
