• Responsible for answering and screening inquiry calls and emails from prospective clients, families, professional referral sources, and others inquiring on behalf of the patient
• Providing telephone assessments, facilitating initial contact with referral sources and potential clients, coordinating the referral and intake process, communicating information to clinical leadership that is needed to determine appropriate level of care
• Quickly involving licensed clinician when crisis intervention/safety assessment is needed during the intake process
• Processing consents for new patients efficiently and in accordance with protocols
• Obtaining pertinent information from new patients by asking them to complete surveys or interviews courteously and professionally
• Collecting data to help with the admission process
• Communicating new client information thoroughly and in a timely manner to clinical and billing teams
• Collecting and analyzing data related to departmental performance indicators
