I am a Full Time Gator here at Green River through the running start program. I have been going to GRC for the past 2 years and this year I will be graduating with my AADTA and my Highschool diploma through Kentwood . I have been a student with the Institute for community leadership and the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center the last three years. I have done outdoor and civic engagement and participation classes and events , I have traveled with ICL and the MLKFC to Oakland Cali for transformation and life and legacy boot camps, as well as many other places like Quinault nation working with president Guy Capoeman on the important of tribal sovereignty. I am Alaskan Native and Scandinavian. I am a enrolled tribal citizen of Tlingit&Haida and have worked with my tribe on voting and registration for our seattle community, joining monthly council meetings , Working with our tribes youth embassador, Justice Domini, on events with other tribes and school districts for native youth. I am a latine student union officer as one of our event coordinators. I have been learning to speak spanish since my 7th grade year and started taking spanish classes my sophomore year of highschool. I am also learning a bit of Lingit and Sm’algyax. I participated in Kentwood Highschool constitution convention in April 2024 as a nominated delegate and passed a bill on Land Acknowledgment.
