Natalie Bornel

• Community of Hope Church special needs children's services where I worked with parents and children to allow for the best church experience for all. I exercised breathing techniques and other therapeutic activities to calm down stressed students and parents.

• Organized a food distribution team at Community of Hope. Worked with food manufacturers to find surplus materials that would otherwise be thrown away. With the help of a team, I assembled these left over foods to create food packages and distributed them every Saturday to people in need around my town.

• Gold medalist for Gymnastics in Charleston, North Carolina for Vault and Bars in the Regional Championship. Two-year varsity Lacrosse where I played as offense.

• Member of French Honor Society I also worked as Secretary where I put together events in my High School such as French Movie Night where admission was $1 and classic French movies were played. This event helped raise money for French Honor Society as well as spread French culture.

• Christmas toy drive where I organized a school event where people were given a Christmas cookie in exchange for a children's toy from a list I obtained from the foster home. 107 out of 112 gifts were obtained for these foster children through this event.

• Model European Union representative for Croatia. As part of an honors project, I went to Florida Atlantic University and discussed economic issues involving immigration and oil sanctions with other representatives.

• Stayed in contact with my French exchange student throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and worked with her to establish a system of communication.

• Went to Toulouse, France where I was immersed in the culture and improved fluency of the French language.

• Worked as a food servers assistant where I translated from English to French and I assisted with all the server's needs.
