- Thoroughly inspected wire forms, panels, and a large component of the locomotives before it was sent to the Final Assembly Line
- Conducted thorough inspections of locomotives in different parts of the assembly line. Mainly dealt with end of the line, last walks before locomotive was sent to Test and to our customers
- Got measurements to ensure parts and the locomotive were within our tolerances. Ex. fillet gauges, feeler gauge, telescoping gauge, calipers, and measuring tape.
- Identified and documented defects. Findings communicated to production, continuous issues brought to engineering and management
- Examined locomotives with controlled documents to make sure they met our company’s and customer’s standards
- Worked with Engineering and Test to update production visuals and the cut list to help the line flow more efficiently
- Trained new hires to meet our company’s and customer’s standards
