Motivated Cardiovascular Technology Student with over 1,000 hours of clinical experience at Scripps locations. Expected to graduate May 2024 and be RDCS certified by graduation date. Acceptance in to the Scripps Internship added an additional clinical day to grow in imaging skills. Eager to continue learning in the field and open to constructive feedback. -Assists professors on teaching new cardiovascular students fundamental images such as Parasternal Long Axis, RA/RV, Sub-pulmonic/RVOT, Parasternal Short Axis, & Apicals
-Gives constructive feedback to students during performance exams on how to better improve images.
-Encourages students to use proper controls such as frequency, gain, compression and TGC's, to composite well gained images.
-Guides students on proper ergonomics, correct protocols, and superb imaging.
-Cleans and organizes the lab with essential items (gloves, gel, towels, electrodes).
-Creates a positive learning environment by allowing students to ask questions to enhance learning.
-Recipient of the 2024 Alan D. Waggoner Student Sonography Scholarship.
-Maintains 4.0 GPA throughout CVT Program.
-Achieves optimal imaging with PW/CW Doppler, M-mode, Color Doppler, 3D, and strain.
-Able to perform different Scripps Protocols depending on specific pathology.
-Meticulously optimizes controls on ultrasound machine to confirm pathology from all angles.
-Proficient understand in ultrasound physics.
-Demonstrates the importance of using at least 2 patient identifiers when greeting a patient prior to exam.
-Effectively follows ASE guidelines to ensure proper reporting protocols.
-Cultivates positive relationships with patients by developing connections in order to gain trust before echo procedure.
-Correctly applies electrodes for accurate timing for reporting.
-Successfully interpreted heart rhythms and documented changes to appropriate personnel.
