I helped organize and plan school functions and events.
I kept a clean, organized, and smooth-running environment when helping at these events.
While working with other fellow students I used clear and personable communication to relay information on the function at hand.
I brought a positive, uplifting, and encouraging atmosphere to the events and people I was around.
I volunteered with food banks, and grade school kids babysitting, picked up litter around the community, and cleaned the High School for school functions.
I helped run the checkout booth at the First United Methodist Church pumpkin patch in the fall.

I was on the plume commander committee where I assisted with organizing and distributing plumes for rehearsals and performances to over 300 members.
I was a clarinet section leader during my senior year. Assisted underclassmen with learning music and marching drills.
I promoted a positive and uplifting environment during rehearsals to better motivate and encourage the younger students.
Hard work and determination are some of the traits the band program taught me and continue with me today.
Through dedication and effort, I made All-State and All-Region bands during High School. Achieved second chair for All-Region band two years in a row.

As a girl scout member, I learned to develop leadership skills with hands-on experience through multiple girl-led functions and events.
I helped to establish a positive and helpful environment as we sold cookies and worked at many volunteer events.
I participated in many group activities that emphasizes young girls building relationships, confidence, and independence to go forward in the future.
Our Troop 661 created a Bronze Medal program called Keep Owasso Clean. This function meets once a month to pick up trash around the community to maintain clean streets and help reduce waste and pollution. Our troop created this in 2015 and still runs today. This program was nominated for the Young Citizens of Oklahoma Award.
