  • Evaluated and identified species of thousands of ticks that had been collected in Cumberland Gap region over several years and used PCR techniques to amplify positive cases of tickborne diseases such as Babesia, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma
  • Presented 2021 Cumberland Gap Tick Project findings by creating an official poster that was presented at LMU’s Fall 2021 Research Day and adding information from that year in for publication
  • Worked in laboratory setting isolating DNA and recording data
  • Worked in field to collect ticks that impact our animal populations
