  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness for work orders that are entered into FEMS for toolkit and parts replacement requests.
  • Assists PSC Chief and acts in his absence for managing three (3) Production Support Centers in the 561st AMXG F-15 Squadron; additional duties include planning, organizing and directing efforts that typically comply with higher headquarters guidance to achieve organization and comply with customer needs.
  • Conducts and/or leads studies and/or initiatives to improve program(s) and/or influence policy changes for assigned functional areas that typically involve long-range, highly complex, and often sensitive topics.
  • Provides advisory services to managers and supervisors.
  • Work with PSC Chief and engineers to design and locate new Production Support Center’s in order to support the 561st increased footprint.
  • Work with the Master Tool Crib, supervisors, work leaders and subject matter experts to ensure all tooling and equipment needed is available at new production support center locations.
  • Proficient in the following systems and applications: FEDLOG, FEMS, ABOM, AF Advantage, Vendor websites, AOTS, and DO43.
  • Performs task as related to the Tool Control and Accountability program using, Facilities Equipment Maintenance System (FEMS), FEDLOG, FEMWEB and other automated systems.
  • Perform Part Number/Stock Number conversion and NIIN cross reference; determine MIC locations and material tracking; locate and manage IPV material; accomplish material turn-ins and cancel orders.
  • Scheduled, directed and conducted periodic inspections, to ensure stock items are serviceable, properly stored, accounted for and maintained. Initiates Reports of Survey when required.
  • Works with the Master Tool Crib to ensure an annual review of Tool Crib (TC) inventories are accomplished and documented.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to generate letters, memos, presentations, and charts.

  • Maintaining stock of tools and parts used by mechanics and assigning items as needed via the FEM system.
  • Procure, issue, control, and dispose of supplies and equipment required for PSC operations.
  • Initiates supply action and documents low inventory.
  • Inspects tools and incoming items for damage, defects, and quantity.
  • Provides customer support, maintains customer data and responds to customer inquiries.

  • Practices VPP and 6S by ensuring the storage area isles are clear of debris and that items are properly stored on shelves, Oversees and logs proper rag control use by mechanics to prevent FOD.
