Participating in the Padres Pioneros Program provided me with the opportunity to interact with 3rd and 4th-grade students and their parents. This experience not only helped me build confidence in delivering lectures but also allowed me to vary weekly lesson plans. Each plan revolved around a children's literature book summary, facilitating Creative Dialogues with students and families to discuss environmental themes addressed in the books. Following the discussions, students actively participated in hands-on science or math activities, emphasizing E-STEM principles.
