Working as a culinary assistant within a senior living home has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has taught me a lot about taking care of residents. I have developed strong relationships with the residents and have learned the importance of patience, empathy, and attention to detail. This role has allowed me to understand the unique needs and preferences of each individual. My time in this position has inspired me to pursue the RA route so that I can further support and care for the residents. I would also love to have some experience in patient care before starting Nursing school next fall!
