After graduating high school, I served as the primary caretaker for my father, who required daily support due to ongoing health challenges. My responsibilities included administering medication, assisting with daily living activities, managing medical records, and coordinating and providing transportation to regular doctors appointments and treatments.
Though it was a personal responsibility, it required strong organization skills, patience and the ability to properly communicate with healthcare providers. It has significantly strengthened my time management, multitasking and caregiving skills.
