In March 2024, I enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard as a 91B, Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic where I attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual training at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. As a vehicle mechanic in the Army, I am able to troubleshoot and fix various vehicles used by the U.S. Army. As I continue my path as a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the Army, I hope to use these skills that I have learned in civilian life and be able to fix anything that might need to be fixed. In November 2020, I completed the Certified Nursing Assistant class and I successfully passed the State board examination to further my nursing career in becoming a Radiology Technician. From July 2014 – March 2021, I have worked with FDOC as a Correctional Officer for seven years. I gained tremendous experience in law enforcement. I learned discipline through communication with coworkers and inmates in a highly stressful and demanding environment - extensively trained in crisis prevention and intervention. I always strive to do my best, no matter what I do. I'm hardworking, reliable, and always willing to learn new skills. I'm very excited to serve our community and make a difference in someone's life, which fuels my passion for nursing and helping others.
