I had the opportunity to graduate from high school a year early, and I couldn’t be prouder of my journey. At just 18, I began my path in caregiving and nursing, driven by a deep desire to make a difference in people's lives. By 19, I earned my CNA License, which opened doors for me to engage even more meaningfully with patients.
Relocating 1,000 miles from home to advance my nursing career has been both challenging and rewarding. It’s a step I took to enhance my skills before applying to nursing school, and I am excited for the future.
As a compassionate Patient Care Technician with a year of experience at Ascension Via Christi, I've developed skills in phlebotomy and patient advocacy. Each day, I strive to enhance patient satisfaction through empathetic support and effective communication. Subsequently, after securing employment at Ascension, I transitioned this role to a secondary position for a brief period before I ultimately decided to move on.
