Intern on Kenworth Sales Company Expansion Project

• Collected, organized, and logged job safety documents from each trade on-site (for voluntary OSHA inspection)
• Waterproofed building foundations on-site
• Surveyed the site to collect data for BIM
• Operated forklift!! (to tranport heavy supplies across site)

Intern on 2 seperate Dominion Power Plant projects:

• Built a foundational understanding of the LEAN Construction methodolgy
• Building relationships with different trade partner employees, and getting involved in their MEP services
• Took notes and recorded important concepts to retain important technical skills and information

• Attended class three times a week to assist Professor Woodruff with different lesson plans and to build relationships with my peers
• Graded assignments and recorded attendance
• Held weekly office hours to assist students in their studies
• Implemented strategies designed to help struggling learners understand difficult concepts
