2016-2019:
● John Carroll University Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy. The position includes teaching courses on the Philosophy of Race and Contemporary Philosophy. It also includes researching the intersection of Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy, gender, and race.
2007-2010:
● The Bunton-Waller Scholarship. The Bunton-Waller Scholarship assists Penn State in creating a more diverse population. Factors such as economic disadvantage, geographic diversity, and ethnic/racial under-representation at Penn State place high-achieving students under consideration for these awards.
2008-2009:
● A one-year seminar by the Penn State University Laboratory for Public Scholarship and Democracy led by Jeremy Cohen that led to my initiation with a certificate as a public Scholarship Fellow. The seminar covered bridging the divide between academia and local/public institutions. This seminar allowed me to become an AmeriCorps Member for the State College Area School District.
2004:
● Humanities’ Dizikes Teaching Award. I received the award for the papers I wrote in: “Women: Philosophical Issues” and “Contemporary French Philosophy.” Nominated and awarded by Philosophy Prof. Jocelyn Hoy (UCSC), who received the award in 2004.
