As an L1 Ambassador, it's my role to fulfill the workload in various processes throughout the warehouse while maintaining, practicing, and coaching other associates on the highest standards of quality, productivity and consistency in our standard work. This can include 1 on 1 training/coaching while other sessions could be a training group of associates just onboarding with the team. It's within my role to be engaged with my trainees in a forward progressive style of partnership while making sure they're following along with all procedures and safety awareness guides in all the different process paths we educate in, while also creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment for all associates participating in the process class.

As a L1 Associate, I was tasked with working closely with my trainer and leadership team to make sure I knew how to properly labor the process paths I was being elected to train on. The tasks and behaviors I performed on a daily basis are as follows but not limited to:

  • Prepared orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling merchandise.

  • Received strong recognition and bonus incentives for promoting a healthy percentage of building sales through transactions (Suggestive selling products to customers already ordering who might not be aware of other products or services offered at specific locations).
  • Trained multiple entry crew into current management positions.
