My job consisted of keeping track of all tooling for technicians in the field. As well has being in charge of the fleet of trucks. Maintaining and building spread sheets for records or daily logs. Having and meeting with vendors over pricing, etc. Making sure equipment meets certain recalibration dates for meters and high voltage gloves.

Making sure all safety climb gear is certified. letting technicians know about there equipment and how to use it. Meters, shotgun sticks, high voltage gloves, arc flash suits, etc. Along with maintaining fedex shipments and creating shipments.

To install services and trouble shoot service calls. Also included installs on commerical accts. My daily activities consisted of maintaining my equipment. Following daily work procedures as. Being on teams calls for safety meetings. Making sure all jobs are met within time frames. Handle customers needs and wants. Assuring all equipment in house is working and functions when i leave. asking if there is anything else i could take care while im already here.

Maintaining proper inventory first in first out. Calling teammates to see if there running. Doing COV maintenance if i have down time.

My duties consisted of a wide range of things. I performed daily video installs, internet installs, phone installs. These task's included things such as modem configuration, adding phone sneads to the sides of houses for dial tone. Or it could of been configuring out punch down blocks in phone rooms to get dial tone.

The modem side of things would consist of configuring IP addresses. Setting up there modem within DB parameters. Hooking up laptops, printers, etc whatever the customer my need done.

Video side consisted of making sure my tap had proper levels, make sure i have good cable runs. The Dmark is nice and tight with proper levels again to insure i have no loss of signal or a bad drop. Include hooking customers equipment to coincide with our equipment for the full experience. All other things like running cable, adding outlets, etc is to be consider as well.

Phone side included making sure proper tap was being used for install. They had to have a 90v pin added to the back of them to provide dial tone. Also I would have to ad the snead to side of house. Toning out jacks, testing stuff with my butt set. making sure i have proper grounds, etc.


I have been on the commerical install team as well. Consisting of same duties as above just on a larger scale. Different rules apply for commerical also. drop ceiling experience, head end room experience. knowing where nodes are as well.


I have also been on a maintenance crew with bucket truck experience. Chasing outages, dead taps, conduit crushed, blowing out conduit from new construction mishaps.


All these duties include maintaining daily safety protocol. Pre trip vehicle inspections. practicing safe driving and following distances. Warehouse ordering of equipment and managing your supplies. planning the best route and knowing your area. making sure inventory on truck is correct. Being a team player, knowing your equipment. Meter, laptop, whatever it may be.
