Started at Intel/Micron in Lehi Utah for Wasatch as a 5th year apprentice working on tool installations for chip manufacturing. This included conduit installation, single line installations, branch circuit installations, distribution systems, Large gear feeds and terminations.

Transferred to Tesoro oil refinery in Salt Lake City, Class 1 Division 1 installations, rigid conduit, seal offs, PLC and control work, familiar with Allan-Bradley, automated control wiring-level switches etc. Trained as a safety officer for Wasatch Electric and served in that capacity during a shutdown that involve 150+ electricians.

Worked on and off for Wasatch at Kennecott copper mine, MSHA certified during this time. worked at their open pit installing control wiring and equipment for automated gate systems. Later worked at the concentrator doing varies industrial installations including a mobile crusher setup and demolition for shipping, and at the smelter on a small teledata project.
