  • Manage an outfacing media network. Created numerous in house web based content delivery and management systems for our graphics and ON AIR PROMO departments. Maintained a web based digital dailies system for our out of house production inside the .NET/ASP environment. Coded many one off programming jobs, for promo and in-house creative department. Created and maintained web based company inventory databases for creative systems and all creative department related equipment. Initiated a service provider style of support through Apple to repair Mac systems in house. Make sure all systems are functioning in their appropriate manner for each user. Systems include Graphic Workstations (Avid / After Effects / Electric Image / Adobe Suite / Apple's Suite i.e. Final Cut / DVD Studio Pro), and administrative systems, office programs (Microsoft Word / Excel, Filemaker Pro) and E-mail (Groupwise / Outlook + Entourage), for both Mac and PC Platforms. Assisted with setup of company-wide network, by helping to setup Zones and Subnets for each independent floor, including remote locations accessed via VPN. Designed and maintained a high speed internal network using cisco equipment. Designed and maintained a high speed outward facing internet accessible network for content delivery across the globe using cisco equipment. Managed and maintained Mac OSX Servers for creative department storage and user home folders. Designed and distributed DVDs for many in house presentations. Built an in house Media Asset Management System, in parallel with a transcoding and format delivery, in an automated process, several workflow productions throughout the company. Built and maintained many SANs pertaining to media storage and video editing, in addition to external facing websites with client transactions and tracking built in. Setup several video and audio streaming websites for both in house and public use. Management of company's internal and external domain names and in house DNS systems. Built an in house off air digital dailies system, that would record several hours of television each night automatically and send these files to be processed, again automatically, for use in a Final Cut timeline.
