Volunteering

I have volunteered with the WonderLab Science Museum in Bloomington, Medical Tele-Brigade, and Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. My time volunteering has showed the importance of teamwork and empathy which I find to be very valuable characteristics to have. As a WonderLab volunteer, I aided in cleaning exhibits and explaining foundational scientific concepts to children. During my time with the Medical Tele-Brigade, I learned how medicine is practiced in Honduras and Ghana. I was able to raise $450 dollars to improving medical care in these countries. Furthermore, at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, I helped package goods for shipment to areas in need.
