My first in charge job was on second shift. It thought me that working with less people needed to have great communication. That included talking with Jessica to figure out what still needed done and what to expect.

I have been a Senior Tech for 6 years. I have learned a lot working under Jessica and Kari. I have been with a great team and realize when communication is a top priority along with patient care, a lot can be accomplished. I have been ordering materials for diagnostic to make sure we always have the proper amount needed.

The other 4 Senior techs are also a great resource for task that need to be completed other than patient care. Matt discussing OR so I know what to expect with workload and lunches. Corrine is great with any epic questions. Ann and Rachel help with keeping people on track with ARRT, BLS and materials that I miss when ordering. I believe I have kept us a float and in good spirits for quite some time as a group. Everyone seems to get along all while providing great patient care.

I am very excited for this opportunity to lead. Jessica and Kari make it very easy to learn and grow as an employer. Also having other senior techs for back up help tremendously.
