I collaborated closely with community managers to oversee leasing activities, address resident inquiries, resolve tenant issues, and maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction while enhancing our company’s digital reputation. My administrative responsibilities included collecting monthly rent payments and accurately applying funds to residents’ ledgers. Additionally, I ensured the proper preparation and delivery of all legal and formal notices, such as “Three-Day” or “30-Day Covenant to Quit” notices, rent increase notifications, late charge notices, and violations of community rules, in compliance with California Civil Code and Shea Properties’ policies and procedures.
As a leasing consultant of the Floating team, I was responsible for the driving of new rental contracts. A main component of the job includes the processing of financial documents, contracts, and generating interest of the community. I provided professional tours of our luxury apartment homes, and our amenities. At this position I processed applications quickly and efficiently, contributing to maintaining budgeted occupancy goals of 96 percent. In doing so I generated revenue and executed contracts at market rates set forth by our revenue management team.
