Summary

I have been ordained as a Church of God of Prophecy minister for nearly two years now. God has so richly blessed me with many opportunities to serve in youth ministry with a handful of local youth ministry roles as well as a state-wide role. The Lord has placed a great burden on my heart for the youth of today. I have a passion to see young souls on fire for the Lord and added to the kingdom of God. With a generation that is so lost in deceit and confusion, my mission is to root the youth in biblical truth and stability to anchor them in their faith and fulfill Jesus's instruction to be the light of the world. I know what a vital role youth ministry has played in my life from my own personal experience and I desire to have that same lasting impact on youth, leaders, and the people of Christway Church.

Volunteer Youth Pastor

  • Instruct, guide, and mentor the youth group at Encounter Church to a deeper relationship with God through the worship ministry, weekly midweek sermons, Bible studies, small groups, and weekly Sunday school classes.
  • Write weekly sermons for our midweek services.
  • Build lasting relationships with youth and parents or guardians.
  • Nurture an atmosphere of excitement and hunger for the presence of God.
  • Collaborate with church leadership to develop strategies for growing the congregation's youth ministry program.

  • Incorporate fun and exciting activities for students to participate in such as dress up days, board game nights, pre-service games, and cookouts.
