I enjoy a lot of creative arts. I plan on being a commercial pilot and professional musician. I would like to get a masters and aeronautic engineering and a bachelors in Horn technicality in directing I love sharing the art of music and helping others grow.
Im apart of the Ovation Youth Orchestra in the association. I did my audition in December of 2023. I was placed in the OYO orchestra as the 3 horn. After a few rehearsals we were going on tour to Grand Junction, CO. For the tour I was the only horn player able to go so I was moved to sub principan for the upcoming concert. We played Colas Breugnon Overture by Ksbalevsky and Finnlandia by Jean Sibelius.
Every rehearsal is very well planned and accomplished. It’s always exciting going to rehearsal. Every once in a while we get a guest conductor to help us get better. Most rehearsal consists of ensemble rehearsal first half and second half brass and woodwinds sectionals. I join the ensemble when they were looking for a fourth horn player. I enthusiastically took the position. I have enjoyed every rehearsal and have made some new friends along the way. Being asked back for 3 semesters has been a very nice thing. I now play as the second horn and am very happy to continue playing with them.
In eighth grade, I was a part of the all city middle school honor band. when I first got there, I was rather happy that I actually got to play with other kids who knew what they were doing. I got to work with Dr. Dockendorf from CU Boulder and was extremely pleased in 10th grade. I was a part of the pikes, Peak honor, orchestra, as principal horn. We played in assortment of orchestral music, and we got to work with none other than the conductor of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Tom Wilson.
