CUDA Array Incrementer (creator) PYTHON

  • The "CUDA Array Incrementer" program employs CUDA to accelerate the process of incrementing each element of a NumPy array by one. It utilizes GPU parallelism to perform the operation efficiently. After transferring the array to the GPU memory, it executes a CUDA kernel function to increment the elements in parallel. The elapsed time is then measured for performance evaluation. This program showcases the utilization of GPU acceleration for array manipulation tasks.

Semaphore Producer-Consumer Simulation (creator) Java

  • The Java project simulates a producer-consumer scenario using semaphores for synchronization. It features a producer thread generating items and placing them into a fixed-size buffer, while a consumer thread retrieves items from the buffer. Semaphores control access to the buffer, preventing race conditions. The program runs for a specified number of rounds, demonstrating safe interaction between producer and consumer threads.

Mutex Producer-Consumer Simulation ( team member) C

  • The project simulates a producer-consumer scenario using mutex locks and condition variables for synchronization. It involves a producer thread generating items and placing them into a fixed-size buffer, while a consumer thread retrieves items from the buffer. Mutex locks ensure exclusive access to shared resources, while condition variables signal changes in buffer status. The program runs until a specified number of rounds is reached, demonstrating safe interaction between producer and consumer threads without race conditions.

Sponsorship Analyzer ( creator) C++

  • The project collects sponsorship data including sponsor ID, hours, and rate. It sorts the data in ascending order based on sponsor ID and rate. It then calculates and displays the number of sponsors, the number of couples present, and the total amount collected. Additionally, it identifies the couple with the maximum amount earned and the maximum number of hours sponsored by any single couple.
