Summary

I believe in the power of an equitable education and its ability to positively influence the next generation. Through UCSB’s Teacher Education Program, I have a History Social Studies SST Credential and an M.Ed set to be obtained by the Summer of 2024. I have a diverse skill set, having worked within a range of education settings from high school AP World History classes to middle school Gen-Ed Social Studies classes. Additionally, my time with the AVID program and working with at-promise students has granted me ample experience working in diverse classroom settings. One of my primary goals as a teacher is to craft an inclusive educational environment tailored to all of my students’ needs. I recognize that educators must first build genuine relationships with their students, in order to learn the needs of those in their class and teach them effectively.
