- Determine project requirements including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and material according to blueprints, drawings, and or verbal or written instructions.

- Layout, measure, and mark dimensions or reference lines on material according to drawings, templates, using calculators, dividers, scribes, rulers, and squares.

- Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, rivets, solder, or caulk. Metal drive clips or bond assemble components into product or to repair sheet metal items.

\- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.

- Install assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, furnace casings, rain gutters, and down spouts in supportive framework.

- Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction or assembly of sheet metal products

• Read and interpreted blueprints, sketches and specifications to ascertain job requirements.
• Coordinated daily movement of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Observed all OSHA regulations and corporate safety regulations and procedures to avoid mishaps.
• Select gauges or types of sheet metal according to project specs.
• Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, or smooth surface seams and joints of assembled parts using hand or portable power tools.
• Transport prefabricated parts to construction site for assembly and installation.
