It has been since 2005, since I ran a forklift and was a supervisor I also, was trained and tested in forklift hazmat operations I have operated LPG, Electric, Gasoline, and Diesel Forklifts, of many types, except standups and cherry pickers I have loaded/unloaded flatbed trailers, dry van trucks/trailers, refridgerated trucks/trailers, using sitdown forklifts and electric or manual pallet jacks I'm very familiar with stair stepping all kinds of freight, to include: racks, food stuffs, gaylords, knockdowns, upees, fragile and non stackable goods, and hazmat goods Even if the towmotor does not have side shift, I learned how to manuver the blades I know how much wieght that can be placed in different parts of a trailer, also I have used 3/4 inch 4x8 sheets of corrugated cardboard, to help secure and cushion freight Also, I've used inflatable bags, loadbars(spread and etrack), and etrack straps and netting Many of the places that I've operated these lifts, are no longer in business and one was in Tennessee I'm willing to test, train, and do whatever is requested and/or required of me, to show that what I have said, is the truth (albiet, I may be a little rusty)
I have an old forklift certification from 2000. I have moved so much, I have lost all of my others. I hold a Class A CDL ,so I have been on both sides of the dock.
I help out at my American Legion post, as an officer/volunteer, for whatever is needed/asked of me, to better help veterans and their families, in whatever way that I can. I also, am an officer in the Marine Corps League, doing similar things.
