Operated a plastic extruder. It was my job to fill the hopper with ground up plastic, and to replace the full box of finished product. It was also my duty to preform small maintenance on the machine and grind plastic for the recycling process.

It was are job to clean equipment that was used to make various chemicals substances. We used a variety of trucks, power washers, and rigs to clean. We also got called in to clean product and chemical spills, clogged drainage pipes, regular maintenance cleanings, and wast water removal. I mostly work inside Dow Chemical. But we had a few regulars around and out of state.

• Interpreted blueprints to follow correct sequence of bends and identify proper tools to produce quality parts.
• Followed safety procedures, donning protective gear for face and body and disabled machines in emergency situations.
• Programmed CNC brake press back gage for custom profiles.
• Fabricated and bent mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

• Optimized workflow by effectively organizing raw materials, finished products, and workspaces.
• Uploaded proper program from machine control and established optimal laser cutting conditions.
• Maintained an organized inventory of consumables needed for laser operations, reducing order lead times.
