I am grateful to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Nathan Mata. I have known him since he has been stationed at Moody Air Force base. From the outset, he has been eager to learn and grow in his career. Nathan was able to grasp his training quickly while being a new team member to the squadron, all while adjusting his family and a new transition. As his supervisor, I knew he would be a great man to my team, while getting these first impressions of him. He became a dedicated airman with great work ethics and motivation to get the best outcome from his military career. While working hard, being punctual, volunteering, showing leadership and team work, he still managed to attend online schooling and being a family man. There has been multiple occasions where our team was depended on completing an exercise and Nathan was always reliable with his work ethics, being able to complete team or individual tasks that contributed to the mission. Our relationship from his sergeant to an airman grew into a friendship. He has shown me, outside of work, he still stands on being a great man, someone that I can count on. He is dependable, humble and compassionate. Nathan has all these qualities and would be a wonderful candidate to any position or job he takes on. I am saddened to lose such a great airman, although I am pleased to know his new line of work will gain an all around great employee/man. If I could provide any additional information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Master Sergeant Sakios
