Project Coordination: Managed day-to-day operations of asphalt paving, milling, patching, and resurfacing projects, ensuring efficient coordination between workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Quality Control: Monitored the quality of asphalt mixtures and paving work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Conducted field inspections to verify proper materials, compaction, and finished product quality.
Safety Management: Enforced strict safety standards, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies. Conducted regular safety meetings and on-site training to minimize workplace hazards and accidents.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operated and oversaw the maintenance of heavy machinery including pavers, rollers, and dump trucks. Ensured proper maintenance schedules were followed and machines were in optimal working condition.
Project Documentation: Maintained accurate daily logs, production reports, and time sheets for labor, equipment, and material usage. Assisted with the preparation of job cost estimates and material ordering.
