  • Assists in preparation of the department budget as it relates to highway operations; monitors and tracks budgets as well as project budgets; monitors unit costs of Maintenance for the County and State. Authorizes expenditures for activities, equipment, staff, or other operational needs.
  • Participates in long and short range departmental planning, reviews progress, and schedules contractors for work.
