  • With assuming control of employee badge credentialing from HR, I had decided to look at redesigning the Wise Health System Employee badge, by increasing the ID photo and text box size, after creating a test print, I had saw that another employee had an innovative idea that was the same as I had been trying out
  • After finalizing the layout and prepared to begin printing in the new format, I was contacted by Laboratory management that had also seen this innovative idea and came to me with a request to see if it were possible to add some form of barcode that could read our eight digit employee ID numbers, so that employees would be able to login to medical equipment more quickly
  • After many tests this goal was achieved, and employee badges are now being printed in this format
  • Because of the pandemic uprising of Covid-19, through direction of Hospital Administration and the EOC, along with the assistance of the Director of Public Safety, made key decisions to enhance the safety of all Wise Health System Locations, Employees, patients, and visitors by strategically locking down all exterior doors

  • On the day of the first meeting the Director of Public Safety and I had discussed and took the initiative to walk around the perimeter of the facility and remove the lock cores from exterior doors where unauthorized entry would be denied
  • Along with certain schedules programmed by me, through C-Cure 9000, to adjust the lock and unlock of any doors controlled by an electric strike or magnetic lock, we had successfully restricted access, better to be regulated and enforceable by public safety and assist in Covid-19 screening protocol
