At Luxury Jet Ski Rentals, I started as a Rental Assistant. This consisted of inspecting the jet skis so that they were ready for customers to use and I would also assist customers to safely docking the jet ski. After a few months, I was promoted to dock Supervisor, which involved speaking with customers. I would be on standby in case any customers would require any emergency assistance or non-emergency assistance while using the rentals. Going over safety instructions, and explaining operations was also a vital part of the job. I trained new hires, supported team collaborations, and assisted Rental assistance with their duties.

While working as a painter in Durham, I acquired many skills. Having a clean and organized work area was key in learning how to put up wallpaper and paint. My supervisor coached me on how to give clients proper estimates. I am a great team player and can get jobs done faster and more precisely. During this time, I would also translate for clients. One of my duties included reading and replying to emails daily to ensure that current and prospective clients' needs were met in a timely manner.

As a store clerk at CVS some of my responsibilities included, moving boxes and stocking merchandise on the store floor. I also learned how to do those tasks while working in a fast paced environment. This position taught me a lot about customer service and how to appropriately answer and problem solve customers' questions. Managing transactions while maintaining a tidy workspace were key skills I maintained during my time at CVS.
