- I often deal with Loitering, Trespassing, alarm response, and Client interactions.
- I interacted often with the public and the various businesses that I patrolled. Offering solutions, and helping clients solve the various security issues that arose during the day.
- For example: Finding unsecured doors, removing fire hazards, or removing items such as dirty needles.
- I drove a company vehicle, it acted as a deterrence, assuring many that we were there for them.

- I worked as a Transit Security Officer on the TriMet Contract. We as Transit Security officers were responsible for making sure people are staying safe, protecting TriMet property, and reporting anything that we observe to detrimental to the security and safety of TriMet and its Passengers.
- We often dealt with many situations that quickly turned violent or unpredictable. But as trained professionals, we were able to diffuse most if not all situations.
- I interacted with the people who rode transit on a day to day basis making sure their needs were met and making sure we gave them the best experience possible while on TriMet.
- While working for Allied Universal as a Transit Security Officer, we were extensively trained in communication, regularly communicating with the Security Operations Center, and Rail Control.
- Precise radio communication was critical for resource management, and critical for emergency response. Often times we were on scene before first responders.

- Ammo inspection: looking for dents or damage to the projectile, damage to grooves where the fuse goes, any leakage of the body of the projectile. And if any discrepancies were found the ammo was taken to the Ammunition technician.
- Propellant Inspection: Smelling the casing for a musty smell, inspecting the casing for damage, once inspection of the casing is complete, individual propellants were inspected to make sure the primer pad, the casing, and the primer were all intact.
