Summary

When I got out of high school I didn’t know what I wanted to do. My father and uncle was a machinist and offered me a job in manufacturing as a screw machine operator. I really liked the job and became very interested in my surroundings. I started learning from the old timers, taking and using as much information as they would give me. Next thing I knew I could run every machine in the shop. I wanted to know how it all worked so I started working with the head of maintenance when he had to fix machines and other problems around the shop. Now I manage over 3 departments, over 30 machines, consisting of mainly cnc’s. I repair machines, help educate employees and it’s something I love to do.
