Currently, a 7 month apprentice electrician at Diller Electric. I mainly have residential experience with some commercial knowledge. Main task include being proficient in roping and trimming, fire alarm installation and addressing, gear work, distribution of materials, generator installation, and any task following the day. Following my on job hours, I am also enrolled at the IEC here in town as a first year. Continuing my education and electrical experience is important towards my career. Besides my basic apprenticeship education I am currently in a fire alarm course at the IEC with hopes of attaining my level 1 NICET. Following this, I have plans of attaining every certification in the book such as osha 10, 30, CDL, Journey Mens, Master, NICET 3, and more. Though I enjoy my current apprenticeship program I am not able to chase every opportunity in front of me. My interest in Colorado Springs Utilities stems from the educational and apprenticeship opportunities I seek from a career interest. My college and electrical experience would be beneficiary to this apprenticeship program. Even if school doesn't correlate, I have the electrical theory background from school as well as the expected work ethic necessary to complete the job.
