    Equipment and Operations

    Expert in operation of motorized water, waterless and super sucker pure air street sweepers Sweeping streets in assigned districts.

    Does minor service and maintenance on Street Sweeping equipment. Removes, installs, and adjusts brooms as needed.

    Expert in operation of end loader to also assist in operations for Street cleaning, illegal dumping and loading for SCRUB

    Provides all training for new employees on all equipment in the division to include water sweeper, waterless sweeper, Super Sucker Pure Air sweeper, end loader, and dump truck operations.

    Administrative duties include:

    Fills in for Section Chief intermittently for past 2 years to include 2022 to 2023 approximately 3 weeks and continuously acting Section Chief from 10-2-2023 to current 10 weeks not including future until position filled.

    Currently working on writing and developing Permeable Paved Pavers Street Sweeping plan on Proper maintenance of using Pure Air Street Sweeper.

    Tracking multiple organizational tickets for disposal weights and fees for the Administrator. This includes MWA, Liberty Tire Scrap Processors.

    Assigns daily assignments to all personnel.

    Monitors Database and Call Center tickets for service request and illegal dumping. Assigns crew, follows up and closes out service request tickets.

    Tracks sweeping miles and tonnage collected for the whole city.

    Manages daily assignments, vacation requests and sick call ins for a staff of 13 employees to maintain proper staffing levels.

    Participating in the interview process for the next street sweeper operator position. Coordinate Street Sweeper Operator skills testing with HR for position.

    Manage 14 additional personnel assignments and time reports for the 2023 Leaf Season operation.

    Managing accident reporting process and daily progress and meets with Public Works Operations Manager daily for progress report.

Preformed routine manual labor work including construction, maintenance, and repairs of equipment for the Street Maintenance operations.

Equipment used: Bull float, Darby, hand float, edger, concrete broom, masonry brush and concrete forms. Multiple hand tools used in operation include hammer, power tools, mails, saw, levels, and tamper.

Large Equipment: Operated bobcat for dirt and rock work and snow removal. Operated dump truck and end loader for snow removal operations.

Properly monitored food and space temperatures while also monitoring all food space sanitation standards. Properly recorded the portions prepared and leftovers for each individual food item. While serving as Galley Watch Captain I managed the galley, mess deck, wardroom and the overall production of daily duties while on a 90-day deployment and for over a period of 2 and a half years .
