Highly motivated, dependable, ready to learn and go the extra mile to serve, perform, and deliver high quality skills and care as a team to improve the community we serve.
As a student at Hoodland Fire I work a 48/96 schedule. I work with fellow firefighters and medically trained personnel running calls while training and attending school to become a full time firefighter.
During my 4 days off, I split my time at the student and main station assisting the on duty crew; responding, maintaining equipment, and additional hands on training.
While at Hoodland's student station I've been able to improve emergency response times with regard to proximity and the large call volume on the mountain. This position has given me patient interaction, as well as structure, car and wildland fire experience.
In 2018 I began assisting my dad in the family business specializing in the start to finish of interior and exterior painting. As well as, but not limited to, roof/gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and deck staining. For the last 6 years I've gained hands on experience with power tools and small engine equipment. These experiences have given me a solid understanding and knowledge of structures, building layouts, and structural materials. I have gotten first hand experience working with a crew to accomplish a task in a timely manner while delivering high quality work to our clients.
