Responsible for the following duties at Wabtec's Texas Locomotive manufacturing facility:

• Performing all material Planning setups in Oracle ERP
• Analysis and decisions for cut-ins/cut-outs of all manufacturing material
• Creating and reporting on simulated demand forecast models in ERP for determining material availibility
• Maintain and improving Planning data quality for all demanded material
• Generating various material health reports that determine material availibility for new and upcoming Locomotive models
• Coaching Material Technical Advisors on role-specific best practices
• General supplly chain problem solving based on product expereince and technical expertise

Responsible for all material processes and execution for the Main Cab and Rad Cab assembly lines, which included:

• Regular bill of material analysis/troubleshooting
• Kit cart order creations/cancellations/sequencing
• Proactive material availibility analysis
• Daily correspondence/escalation for late material
• Timely material work-order creations/closures based on manufacturing progression
• Regular collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams
• Implementation and maintenance of LEAN and 6S manufacturing ideologies
• Closely supporting logistics team for hot material in transit
• Coaching material handlers/interns on best materials strategies/responsibilities

Manage nightly materials responsibilities for all Sub-Assembly manufacturing lines, including:

• Reacting to all material shortage situations to insure manufacturing line progress is not inturrupted
• Running material availibility reports to identify future material shortages
• Performing material cycle counts to identify lost material and bill-of-material errors
• Implementing 6S and LEAN projectes and stragies for continuous iprovement
• Coaching material handlers on best manufacturing practices and standard work
• Interacting with material buyers/fulfilment leaders on late/hot material
