  • Formed and assist managing jazz group, “Nate G and The Crew off 35th”
  • Owner and Managing Member of Swing Carter Productions, LLC.
  • Perform at multiple community and professional events annually within the D.C., Maryland and Virginia metropolitan area
  • Manage aspects of band's operation, including music song list, rehearsals and personnel
  • Adapt diverse musical styles from Pop and R&B to Jazz
  • Provide opportunities for underclassmen to gain experience and perform outside of academic settings

Accomplishments

    Berklee College of Music Summer Program - Boston, MA

    Selected as one of 40 participants out of 225 talented applicants nationwide for a fully funded, week-long summer program. Composed and performed an original piece and participated in collaborative performances with other artists, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

    NAACP 46th National ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, Scientific Olympics) Competition - Won Bronze Medal in Contemporary Music Category. Placed third place, competing against 40 talented young musicians across the country.

    Noochie’s Live on Front Porch at Duke Ellington, Washington, D.C., Nate G and the Crew off 35th was selected to perform for Noochie’s Live series. Performance has received more than 100K views on Noochie’s and Duke Ellington’s Instagram pages.
