Nathaniel Scott

As a senior geoscience major at Penn State, I am deeply passionate about understanding Earth's dynamic systems and applying this knowledge to address environmental and energy challenges. I have hands-on experience conducting fieldwork to analyze rock formations and utilizing software such as ArcGIS for geological modeling. My coursework and projects have equipped me with strong skills in data analysis, structural geology, and geophysical techniques. My current research involves analyzing outcrop models to help teach Deep learning systems for accurate facies interpretation. I'm also working on an innovative solar energy project, where I apply geoscientific principles to optimize sustainable energy solutions. I aim to contribute to solving critical challenges in renewable energy and environmental sustainability, leveraging my geoscience expertise to innovate and make a meaningful impact.
