Responsible for the training, mentoring, professional development, and overall welfare of 21 permanent part Officers, Noncommissioned Officers, and Soldiers. Exercises mission command responsibility to equipment, facilities, property, and training areas worth over $1,000,000. Ensures all personnel are treated with dignity and respect.
Platoon Trainer for the United States Army Engineer School's Engineer Basic Officer Leadership Course (EBOLC) that annually trains and transforms approximately 800 newly commissioned officers into technically and tactically proficient engineer platoon leaders. Directly responsible for the health, moral and training development of 65 officers assigned to each class. Plans, conducts, and evaluates training in leadership, small unit tactics, physical fitness, combat and general engineering. Responsible for duties of an instructor to deliver required course material, administer and enforce the standards of personal conduct, discipline, appearance, academics, and leadership.
Commands a Reception Holding and Transition Company providing trained and ready Drill Sergeants and support personnel to conduct safe and sterile transport of over 20,000 Soldiers from Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) annually to 13 different locations CONUS and to hold BCT and One Stations Unit Training graduates in support of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence. Responsible for maintaining the readiness, health, welfare, morale, and discipline of one officer, 10 noncommissioned officers, and over 400 trainee weekly. Coordinates effectively and efficiently across the installation with MSCoE personnel, 52 separate training companies, civilian agencies, and sister services in support of the Army's mission to provide personnel combat power. Prioritizes unit resources including time, equipment, money, and facilities to accomplish assigned missions and necessary training. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of over $5,000,000 of installation and organizational property.
