• Review and abstract ICD 10 CM/PCS diagnosis and HCPCS/CPT procedure codes for all, except quickcare physician/hospital charging, UMC practices that consist of: Inpatient, Observation, Emergency Department, and Ambulatory Surgery(i.e, vascular and non-vascular IR, Cardiac Cath, EPS, TAVR, ENT, Genitourinary, Breast Reconstruction)

• Responsible for reviewing Inpatient edit claims to correct NCCI, revenue code edits, medicare rejection due to edits, and coding assignment/MS-DRG classification, with the assistance of utilizing ChargeAssist(chargemaster management tool) and Find-A-Code(profee/facility coder tool)
• Prepares daily revenue report that includes all coding categories to plan and prioritize the rest of day workflow.

• Performed coding procedures for emergency room, inpatient and outpatient specialty (Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Interventional Radiology, General Surgery, Oncology/Hematology, Pulmonology, ENT, Wound Care, Orthopedics, and Rehabilitation) services.
• Application of 3M Encoder and Allscripts EHR to interface and abstract code into patient record systems.
